IZUMI INVESTMENT、ウズベキスタンで合弁物流会社「IZUMI-VODIY」を設立

設立後の第1号案件として、出資と車両リースを通じて現地の輸送事業を支援

ウズベキスタンを拠点に物流関連資産への投資・リース事業を行うIZUMI INVESTMENT LLC（所在地：ウズベキスタン共和国タシケント市、CEO：平川 信）は、現地物流会社VODIY STAR TRANS社の関係個人との共同出資により、2026年9月22日に合弁物流会社「IZUMI-VODIY LLC」を設立しました。

出資比率は、当社が50％、VODIY STAR TRANS社の関係個人が50％です。

本件は、当社設立後の第1号案件です。当社による出資・車両リースと、VODIY STAR TRANS社の顧客基盤・物流ネットワーク・運営体制を組み合わせ、ウズベキスタンにおける輸送事業の基盤を構築します。

IZUMI-VODIYは、トレーラー・コンテナによる輸送事業を展開し、飲料、加工食品、産業用原材料などの輸送を担います。

■事業の背景と目的

当社は、2026年2月4日にイズミ物流株式会社の100％子会社として設立されました。日本で培われた物流の運営ノウハウと資産管理の知見を基盤に、ウズベキスタンで商用車両などの物流関連資産への投資・リース事業を展開しています。

今回の合弁会社設立は、当社の投資・リース機能を現地の輸送事業に結び付ける取り組みです。車両の提供に加え、品質・安全管理や経営管理の面でも事業運営を支援し、現地パートナーとともに継続的に事業を運営できる体制づくりを進めます。

ウズベキスタン国内および中央アジア周辺国の輸送需要に対応するとともに、ドライバーの育成や現地での雇用創出を通じて、地域の物流基盤の発展に貢献してまいります。

■事業内容と運営体制 

IZUMI-VODIYは、トレーラーとコンテナを組み合わせた輸送事業を展開します。当社はトレーラーヘッド（トレーラーを牽引する車両）3台をリースで提供し、飲料、加工食品、産業用原材料などの輸送を支えます。

事業運営における各社の役割は、以下のとおりです。

・IZUMI INVESTMENT LLC

IZUMI-VODIYへの50％出資とトレーラーヘッド3台のリースを担います。また、日本の物流ノウハウ、品質・安全管理、資金調達、経営管理の面から事業運営を支援します。

・VODIY STAR TRANS

現地の顧客基盤と物流ネットワークを生かし、営業・顧客対応・配車を担当します。また、コンテナの手配、整備体制の提供、ドライバーの確保・管理を担います。

IZUMI INVESTMENT Establishes Joint Venture Logistics Company “IZUMI-VODIY” in Uzbekistan

First project since establishment supports local transportation operations through equity investment and vehicle leasing

IZUMI INVESTMENT LLC, a logistics asset investment and leasing company based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, led by CEO Shin Hirakawa, established the joint venture logistics company IZUMI-VODIY LLC on September 22, 2026, through a joint investment with an individual associated with local logistics company VODIY STAR TRANS.

IZUMI INVESTMENT and the individual associated with VODIY STAR TRANS each hold a 50% ownership interest in the joint venture.

This marks IZUMI INVESTMENT’s first project since its establishment. By combining our equity investment and vehicle leasing capabilities with VODIY STAR TRANS’s customer base, logistics network, and operational resources, we will build a foundation for transportation operations in Uzbekistan.

IZUMI-VODIY will provide trailer and container transportation services for beverages, processed foods, industrial raw materials, and other cargo.

■ Business Background and Objectives

IZUMI INVESTMENT was established on February 4, 2026, as a wholly owned subsidiary of IZUMI LOGISTICS CO., LTD. Drawing on logistics operations and asset management expertise developed in Japan, we invest in and lease logistics assets, including commercial vehicles, in Uzbekistan.

The establishment of this joint venture connects our investment and leasing capabilities with local transportation operations. In addition to providing vehicles, we will support quality and safety management and business management, working with our local partner to build a structure that supports business continuity.

We will address transportation demand within Uzbekistan and neighboring Central Asian countries while contributing to the development of the region’s logistics infrastructure through driver training and local job creation.

IZUMI-VODIY will operate transportation services using trailers and containers. IZUMI INVESTMENT will lease three tractor units—vehicles used to tow trailers—to the company, supporting the transportation of beverages, processed foods, industrial raw materials, and other cargo.

IZUMI INVESTMENT LLC

IZUMI INVESTMENT will hold a 50% ownership interest in IZUMI-VODIY and lease three tractor units to the company. We will also support operations through Japanese logistics expertise, quality and safety management, financing support, and business management.

VODIY STAR TRANS

VODIY STAR TRANS will draw on its local customer base and logistics network to handle sales, customer service, and vehicle dispatch. It will also arrange containers and vehicle maintenance and recruit and manage drivers.

Through investment in and leasing of logistics assets, together with collaboration with local operators, we will support the development of reliable transportation services and a stable revenue base.

Through IZUMI-VODIY’s operations, we will strengthen collaboration with our local partner and pursue gradual business expansion while ensuring appropriate vehicle management and improving safety and quality.
